I offer affirmative relationship counseling with people of all genders and sexualities, and I welcome all types of relationship structures (e.g., monogamist, open relationships, consensual non-monogamy).
Couples therapy can be a wonderful way to work through your communication and behavior patterns with a neutral person in the room. Some people don’t know how to build and maintain a healthy bond, and this causes pain in the relationship. It’s not about “who’s right and who’s wrong”, but about truly understanding yourself and each other, so that you don’t continue to repeat the same disagreements and bad patterns.
In our therapy sessions, I will help you in exploring each of your experiences within the relationship, understanding and communicating your relationship needs, shining a light in the dark places, and bridging the gap between each other’s worlds. We will work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking, communication, and behavioral patterns.
